Here we have gathered an FAQ regarding our new system support and the services provided by FörsäkringsGirot.
Since 2021, FörsäkringsGirot has been developing a successor to our current platform COINS, which is currently used for the administration and calculation of occupational pensions, insurance and benefits. The new system builds upon the same functionality as COINS but has been developed to meet greater demands for adaptation, bespoke solutions, and an improved interface. It also has more automated processes, better functionality and user-friendliness.
The functionality and setup for FörsäkringsGirots package Fullservice will not change, so monthly administration processes will not be affected. The interface will be improved and be more user-friendly than it is at present.
The functionality and setup for FörsäkringsGirots package Selfservice will not change, so monthly administration processes will not be affected. The interface will be improved and be more user-friendly than it is at present.
The COINS Analys feature will not be available in FörsäkringsGirot’s new system. However, equivalent capabilities and tools will remain, such as analyzing financial data, statistics, and generating reports. It will be more user-friendly and easier than today to search for the desired information.
Löneväxlingskollens functionality will remain the same and will not be affected by the change. You will access Löneväxlingskollen in the same way as present.
FörsäkringsGirot currently offers a range of additional services (Avtalade tjänster) such as reports, supplier-specific management, etc. These will not be affected by the new system; delivery will remain the same. For customers, current agreed services and setups will be transferred with the change of system.
FörsäkringsGirots customer portal Mitt Fgiro, will remain the same. Login, functionality and use will be the same as now during the project. We plan for a new updated customer portal when all the customers have been migrated to the new system.
Safepoint, our secure space for sharing sensitive data and information will remain the same for now. In time we plan for a new and similar space.
Authorisations and account administration will be transferred based on the current setup. The new platform will have more detailed controls for authorisations, as requested by customers, increasing the level of administrative control and providing authorisation adapted to roles and tasks.
No, we have not found any factors that will affect our current agreements, as all functionality and delivery will continue as usual. Names of services or packages may change, but this will not affect current agreements.
No, there will be no changes to pricing following the new system.
Each customer will be told when the transfer is planned, individually and well in advance. Our aim is that transfers to the new system will occur at the turn of the month and between reporting periods. In other words, transfers will not affect monthly processing or reporting to advisers, insurance companies: Collectum, Fora, etc. A more detailed explanation of the transfer process you can find here!
Our goal is to start transferring customers in September 2024 and finish all customers during 2027.
Depending on the complexity of the setup, number of additional services, etcetera, the time it takes may vary, but an estimate is 1-2 weeks. The transfer is done between the processing of payroll files, reporting and invoicing, and should not lead to interruptions in agreed services and functionality.
No. According to our planning and the estimated transfer time, it can be done between two reporting periods.
According to our planning, you as a customer will not need to be involved in the transfer. However, when we contact you with a date for the transfer, we would appreciate it if you have appointed contact people, in case we need to check a setup or have questions. These will probably be your employees now working operatively with FörsäkringsGirot’s services.
For customers with Selfservice and Fullservice education and user information will be available before the migration and start in the new system.
The first customers transferred in the during 2024. After this, transfers will occur successively throughout 2024-2027. Our aim is for all our customers to be transferred by the end of 2027. After that we will close the current system COINS.
FörsäkringsGirot’s new system is based on COINS’ functionality, but has been developed using requirements for greater adaptability, more automated processes, increased functional flexibility and greater ease of use with a better interface. In other words, almost everything has been improved to deliver added value, such as increased relevance, control and security, as well as a more efficient tool with better guidance.
Some of the interface and functionality is shown in the video above. More material and information will be added at a later stage.
The interface is what the user sees after logging in to perform tasks linked to FörsäkringsGirot’s service, such as uploading payroll files, checking employees, approving that someone is fit for work, producing a report, etc. The interface in the new system has been designed based on customer requests and in partnership with UX (user experience) designers who are experts in user friendliness. The aim is for the interface to be clear and easy to use. Depending on the user’s role, the start page is adapted to quickly take them to relevant tasks, making their work easier and quicker.
Some of the interface and functionality is shown in the video above. More material and information will be added at a later stage and communicated to customers.
Security relating to information, sensitive data and personal data is of the highest importance to us, and an important element in our agreements with our customers. We are ISO 27001 certified, meaning high demands on information security and our management of this. Naturally, these demands also applies to the development and operation of our new system. Therefore our customers can continue to feel confident when using our services in the new system.
Yes. We are designing training sessions for all functions and roles, to help make working in the new system easier. This includes a start-up training session as well as instructional videos, guides etc. We also offer specific and individual training if necessary.
What operating system you use should not matter; everything is web-based. The new system is supported by the common web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari etc). There may be minor differences in the interface, but functionality is ensured. Java is part of the solution, but as a customer, you do not need to have Java installed.
We have verified the year-end closing dates for all our customers (including any divergent closing dates) and plan the migration accordingly to avoid any conflicts.
In the new system support, there may be some differences in how reports are retrieved. Some reports will be uploaded to Safepoint (or its future equivalent) just like today, and some reports will be available as views directly in the system.
Accounting reports in the form of the monthly accounting file created for input into your business system will still be retrieved in a similar manner as today but through the new interface.
Due to limitations with the Expisoft certificate, which does not allow dual logins in the same browser simultaneously, issues may arise when trying to access the new system via Mitt Fgiro, as both require Expisoft login.
Instructions on how to access:
If you only need access to the new system, log in directly using this link https://minasidor.fgirot.se/
If you need to access both Mitt Fgiro and the new system, dual login is required.

Below we present the planned migration from COINS to our new system support. The switch for each customer will take place after monthly closing and reporting have been completed in COINS. This is to avoid service interruptions and make the transition as smooth as possible.

We will contact each customer with information about the planned migration.
We need contact persons from your organization who will receive ongoing information regarding the migration that we will be sending out. You also need to specify who will be the administrator in the new system at the time of go-live.
The administrator is responsible for:
Authorizations need to be in place immediately after the transition for those who will upload payroll files, manage reporting, and access financial information.
Before the migration, the payroll file will be sent to FörsäkringsGirot according to the current routine. Reporting and accounting will continue to be done in COINS. Invoices from your suppliers and payments will proceed as usual. The month is closed once the accounting file has been produced and the reporting has been completed.
At the same time, your pension policy will be set up in our new system and the information will be transferred. The chart of accounts and mapping rules will be set up in the same way as in COINS.
FörsäkringsGirot ensures the ongoing administration.

The following month, you as a customer will be migrated to the new system.
FörsäkringsGirot will carry out training and go-live procedures.
After that, access to the new system will be opened for you as a customer.
The payroll file will now be uploaded to the new system. Thereafter, management, reporting, and accounting will be carried out as usual. Invoices will be handled as before, but will now appear in the new interface.
FörsäkringsGirot will also transfer your history to the new system support.
FörsäkringsGirot ensures ongoing administration
Once the migration is completed, you can log in and use the features in the new system. Training and instructions will be available at Mitt Fgiro for ongoing skill development and for future new hires.
